nick dot me

my new blog in remembrance of an old one. once upon a time there was a blogging site called journalspace. i was writing there. pretty regularly. under the name nick. that blog was called daydreamer. lots of poetry and fiction and stuff like that. it was an inspirational site. and just logging in some how inspired me to write. hope to some day get that back. that inspiration. 

but one day i logged in and it was gone. all my posts. all my work. my heart sank. luckily i had a backup with some of it saved. i took that backup and made a book on lulu. most of it is there. well whats left. after the blip i kind of stopped writing for a while. it was therapeutic, blogging i mean. 

since then i have made some new blogs and kind of gotten back my groove. wrote a few books too. but life gets in the way of the art. because you have to pay the bills and the art doesnt make any real money. so you cant quit the day job. and retirement is so far away. 

a longer post than i planned on doing. but no one seems to ever read my work any way.
